The font at St Oswald's; I'm not sure how old it is, it's said
to be medieval (maybe part Elizabethan). I wonder how many I'Ansons were baptised
here.

These are thought to be effigies of Sir Walter de Barden and his wife and
are thought to have been made in the period 1310 to 1340. They spent many
years lying in the churchyard and are quite weather-worn, as you would expect. |
